I received this yesterday after buying it on eBay. It is the perfect partner to my Canon 550D. Not sure if I wanted to get into flash photography but since upgrading my lens to the 17-55mm f2.8 I needed a flash gun to stand higher anyway, so the £50 it cost me I could live with. It is fully manual (no TTL or ETTL function) but at least you will learn more about using flash. Works well both on and off camera, via infrared or using triggers. Easy to use and navigate with the LCD on the back. I compared it to the Canon branded 430EX II and given the Yongnuo was 75% cheaper, I'm very happy with this purchase!!!
