“The construction feels a few plastic, but for this price it is an excelente flash. It is a few slow when you turn on, but not a lot.

Best bang for the buck in manual flashes
“This is a great flash for the price. Compared to other cheap Chinese strobes, this flash feels solid. The hotshoe is medal, not plastic. Unlike the Vivitar 285HV, this flash has more power options. Also, it has an optical sensor and works great as a slave.” – By WillMedia

Amazing alternative to costly brand name

As a long time strobist this thing rocks
“LONG timeout, self shut off is 30 or 60min depending on mode, my silly sb-28′s would go into standby every few min when i changed the batteries, Dead simple, button controls. Great light for the money
“With a freshly-charged set of batteries (4 AAs) it takes very little time to recharge, especially if on a lower-powered setting. In fact, on the low to mid-powered settings I’m able to use the burst mode on my Canon T2I (about 8 frames per second) and the 460ii will flash with almost every shot.” – By frugal-foto-nc

Great Manual/Slave Flash
“The flash does work on the Canon EOS 5D in manual mode, from my test the flash does not work with 2nd Curtain flashing, so there is no camera to flash control or vise-verse just triggering.” – By AMS

Great flash for the price
“I have a Canon 430 EX II and a 580EX II, plus Yongnuo remotes. Canon flashes are very expensive.. If you are a pro and do weddings or super fast refresh rates, you’ll probably want the real deal, but for the rest of us, this is great.” – By B. Mcdonald

“Besides from the flash being a great price, it’s also very durable. This flash has great flash strength, and has good recycle time, but I only use energizer rechargeable batteries. The flash arrived quickly and in perfect condition, plus the look and feel is great. Very easy to use, and has all of the specifications that I expected.
