The Ravelli 10×12′ Background Stand and Three Muslin Backdrops Model ABS model background stand is 10′ tall by 12.3′ wide. It is comprised of two tripod stands and four 3′ cross bar sections and includes a heavy duty carry bag. The four cross bar sections allow for the stand to be set up in 6′, 9′ or full 12′ widths. The cross bar interconnects are 6″, the longest on the market, providing ample support for heavier backdrops. The tripod stands use air cushioned shocks, instead of spring shocks, allowing the fully extended stands to smoothly and safely collapse to their minimum height. The material on the stand bag is very heavy duty 1680D weight ballistic nylon and the zipper is 8mm white copper metal. The stand also features large ergonomic tension screws, individual elastic straps for each cross bar sections in the bag, and end caps for the crossbar to prevent tearing of your backdrops.

“I didn’t expect as much as I got. This is very substantial, the supports are not at all flimsy. There is very little sag, if any, in the cross pieces. You can make it shorter if you want so you don’t need to use the entire width. The muslin is sufficiently heavy. The bag is solid and I did not expect to get nice bags for the muslins..” – By R. “This set has proven to be quite a value,I’ve found not only are the colors “true” The Muslin is a very nice workable weight. The 10×12 stand is made of excellent quality, to the point that I was very satisfied with the overall purchase.

“Love the backdrop stand and Backdrops..the stand is a lot better the the stand that i had.. As far as the backdrops goes. love them i have only used the chroma key one. but that’s great. because i have been playing around with trying to add more to my work. and that is where the chroma key comes in at.i have only had the backdrop stand for one full day but i have already made my money back off of it.. when my clients heard that i will be adding graphics into my work they came right over. and the great thing that i love about the backdrops.” – By Michael M. Most bang for your buck of any camera equipment
“This is not cheap and crappy, the entire thing is very high quality, you will not be disappointed. I would say that the one and only thing I would like to see is a way to arrange it so you can make the cloth go lengthwise too but there is no one who makes them that way so it’s not really a complaint about this product but something I could see myself using. You know if you’re doing a large group shot without everyones feet or a green screen shot where the talent is running. I’m just being picky, this thing is awesome. “ – By Shane Harder

“Really happy with the construction of the stand itself – it’s very strong and sturdy. The case it comes in is awesome. Very heavy duty and each piece has it’s own separate slot so nothing is banging into each other. I really wish the muslin was of a bit heavier material. It’s not bad at all, but creases and wrinkles are easy to see. Admittedly – I have’t used the white or chromo-key green yet (hopefully soon), only the black. It’s nice that the muslins had their own bags to store them in, but I had a bit of trouble folding them to get them fully back into their individual bags. Overall I’m VERY pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.” – By B. Barber

“The stands are in the same boat– you won’t constantly be adjusting them like you would be adjusting your lighting rig stands. You’ll assemble it, then leave it until the end of the shoot, when you will put it away. Don’t over-tighten the clamps and take minimal precautions to not break the knobs, and the stands should last a very long time…” – By James Sabo

Prism Backdrops
The backdrops are made by Prism and are professional muslin backdrops made from a heavier 100% cotton material. The 10X20′ size (approximately 9X18.2′ after shrinkage) weighs 4.6lbs. Special dyes are used to obtain well saturated colors which appear vibrant and not washed out. All sides are stitched to avoid unravelling and a 3.4″ rod pocket is sewn into the top. Each muslin is folded and comes in a plastic bag to avoid moisture and stainage, is then placed in the black carry bag, and then packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
