Saitama, Japan. February 6th, 2012. Tamron has launched then new Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD lens. The lens is a full-size high-speed standard zoom lens that comes with VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization to handle shooting in low-light conditions and USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) for quiet AF (Auto Focus) operation. The lens construction consists of 17 lens elements in 12 groups, including three low-dispersion, two high-refractive-index and three glass-moulded aspherical elements. Additionally, it also use a hybrid aspherical element and an iris diaphragm with nine rounded aperture blades fro gorgeous blur effects. The price and availability of this lens will be announced at a later date.
Comes with VC ( Vibration Compensation), the Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD lens allows the cameras’ users is able to handle shooting of images in low-light conditions. While the lens construction that consists of three LD elements, three glass molded aspherical lenses, one hybrid aspherical lens and two XR (Extra Refractive Index) glasses allows users get high quality images with exceptional blur effects powered by the rounded diaphragm.
Additionally, the lens feature USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) offers a quiet AF (Auto Focus) operation. The lens also has a wide-end focal length of 24mm that expands the photographic area. There is a Moisture-resistant construction which offers protection of the lens from water.
