Recently as I bought a new camera I tried to Tamron to see how it performed on this new camera body . The results were so good I just had to write this up to let someone out there know how good the combination was . The Nikon D7000 with the Tamron 70-300mm USD VC lens is a great combination.

I don't think you should have any problems using it with a Canon rebel series camera. Just try it , if it does not work , send it back . One word of caution . The Tamron is quite large and for what it is a bit on the heavy side . Your rebel will be front heavy with this lens.

The Tamron is a great lens and it will eventually become a classic with time as the Tamron 17-50 has . Imagine a lens that is super sharp wide open at 70mm and stays like that at any aperture all the way to 300mm . That is what this lens does. I'm sure it must have some type of softness somewhere but by what I can see with my eyes it surely doesn't . When reviewers are dumping their Nikon 70-300mm VR lens to keep this one that says alot about the quality of this lens.
