Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Di III VC is a new camera lens which has 18-200mm at focal length with maximum aperture of f/3.5-6.3. The lens features such as a stepping motor that is an ideal match for the Contrast-detection AF system and a VC (Vibration Compensation) to delivers a stable viewfinder image with excellent tracking performance that eliminates the blurring images. The lens measures Length 96.7mm (3.8in) x Entire Length 102.0mm (4.0in) x Diameter 68mm (2.7in) with weight Approx. 460g (16.2oz).

Design and Performance

The Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Di III VC is a high-power zoom lens which is designed especially for Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series such as NEX-3, NEX-C3, NEX-5, NEX-5N. It has light & compact design with full focal-length range from 18mm wide-angle to 200mm long telephoto (27-300mm equivalent in the 35mm format) lets you capture images in any shooting situation. With high-power zoom range of 18-200mm, the lens allows you to take images in everything from casual close-ups to telephoto action images.

Not only that, the lens also comes with VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization which allows you get sharper images. To produce sharp images, the images stabilization is supported by optical design that includes an array of specialized glass elements for overcome aberrations, resulting in crisp and flawless images.

Lens Technology

In addition, the Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Di III VC lens use a stepping motor to provide a precise and quiet autofocus performance. The stepping motor is an ideal match for the contrast detection autofocus system used in Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series. It also lets you to enhance autofocus capability when shooting video, even you can use the Direct Manual Focus (DMF) functions to adjust the focusing as you want. The lens is equipped with a VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization technology to provide a crisp and vivid viewfinder image with compensates the camera shake, so you will get sharp images even in low light shooting.
