Great for going light
“The Nikon D300 with the 70-200 f/2.8 lens with the lens shade reversed is a nice fit in this bag. There is an adjustable/removable velcro divider for use with shorter lenses so you could carry a teleconverter or another short lens in the nose. I have 3 Tamrac bags and like them all. They protect from the weather, the padding is good, they have a couple of pockets for batteries and small accessories, are well made, and are secure yet easy to get into… in short, great bags for going “light”.” – By Johnny Johnson

Tamrac 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Case not waterproof
“I use the Tamrac 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Case with the S-500 Chest Harness on my backpacking trips. This system allows me to keep all my camera gear out of my backpack and on my chest where I can more easily and quickly access it. This saves room for more gear in my backpack and balances my pack weight towards the front. However, the S-500 chest harness (sold separately) doesn’t have padding, so it can really wear on the shoulders after a day of hiking. I suggest finding padding if buying the S-500 harness as well. “ – By Chris Bemis

Good Day Case for Full Frame Bodies
“This case fits my 5D Mark II (with attached battery grip) perfectly, even with theCanon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras attached…. Build quality is great: well padded and repels water well. Shoulder strap is nicely padded and removable if you just want to use the handle. I’ve found it easier to take my camera with me more often since this is so easy to carry compared to my big gear case (much to the dismay of my co-workers). ;)” – By Michael D. Newcomer

Tamrac 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Features & Specifications

The Pro Digital Zoom 10 is ideal for carrying larger, full frame bodies such as Canon’s 1D Series or Nikon’s D3 Series cameras with a grip and 9½” lens attached (including most 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses). Dual Foam Technology™ provides protection and a custom fit to pro digital SLRs. The front pocket features Tamrac’s U.S. patented Memory & Battery Management System™, which uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries. A smooth nylon accessory pocket in lid holds lens-cleaning paper.

The Pro Digital Zoom 10 is compatible with Tamrac’s Modular Accessory System™ (M.A.S.™) and Strap Accessory System™ (S.A.S.™) products. A belt loop in back quickly converts this Zoom Pack from a shoulder bag to a belt holster. It can also be carried by the EasyGrip™ carrying handle or by the padded, adjustable, removable BioCurve™ shoulder strap.
