neat
“this was just the thing i waslooking for, i got a D40x nikkon, mounted with a 70-300 lense most of the time and i hated when i needed other tipe of lense because my current bag was too small and uncomfortable. i currently have my camera with two lenses (70-300 and 20-50) and a psp with all the required cables for both and a small point and shot canon camera, all paked up in the tamrac bag. and i think i could put some more things but i like it with some free space.” – By Jessie Ocampo

Great bag for a netbook
“Size and layout – You can put this under the seat in front of you on a plane and still have some legroom. Its compact but well planned inside. I like this much better than a bag that is wider than it is deep. I found most backpack type bags require you to lay bigger lenses sideways, this wastes a lot of space. This bag allows u to stack your most used lenses/accessories above the lesser used ones (with a padded wall in between of course). I rarely use my nifty fifty but i like to have it with me because its so light. Same with the ST-E2, I want to have it with me but its not an item I need to grab immediately on the go. Laptop compartment – It holds up to a 13″ laptop, but the compartment is perfect for my 10″ netbook and its power supply.” – By Francisco Alejo

Great camera bag
“I was looking for a decent sized camera bag that didn’t look like a camera bag. I wanted to carry a prosumer DSLR, a couple of lenses, a flash and a gorilla pod. This was exactly what I was looking for, it looks more like a messenger bag, and easily accommodates my gear. “ – By J. Neely

Tamrac 5535 Adventure Messenger 5 Features & Specifications

The Adventure Messenger 5 is a slim-profile, photo/laptop messenger bag that is slightly larger than Tamrac’s popular Adventure Messenger 4. It is ideal for carrying a DSLR with a zoom lens attached (up to 7″ long), several additional lenses (including most 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses), a flash and most 13″ screen laptops. The Speed Flap™ Top opens to reveal adjustable, foam-padded internal dividers that provide a custom fit to camera equipment.

The zippered front pocket, full-length zippered Speed Pocket™ on the flap and a zippered pocket in back provide extra storage for accessories, manuals and personal items. A side pocket is perfect for carrying a cell phone or MP3 player. A padded shoulder strap and EasyGrip™ carrying handle provide convenient carrying options, while the Piggy-Back Pocket™ allows the bag to be slipped over the handle of rolling luggage.
