Stay Away From Sensor Brush by Visible Dust
We’ve been receiving some e-mails lately complaining about the Sensor Brush, a CCD/CMOS cleaning product by Visible Dust. It’s reported that the brush is too large for the sensor and therefore the brush smeared the sensor with grease from the mirror box.

Here’s one of emails from our readers sent to us about a week ago:
Hi Dphotojournal,
Really nice site you’ve got here..Love it!
Just wondering if you know anything about CCD/CMOS cleaning. I’ve been using the Visible Dust brush to clean my Canon 20D, my problem was that the brush is too large for the sensor and therefore the brush smeared the sensor with grease from the mirror box. Do yo any other ways to clean your CCD/CMOS sensor ?
Best Regards,
Sam
Here’s another user review which was sent to us on 13th of January 2005:
“I bought the Visible Dust Full Size Pro 1.0f Kit which contains 24mm Sensor Brush and a 24mm SBF brush with the Spinning Device for 24mm SBF brush for US$158.197
Instead of sending me the one 24mm sensor brush & one 24mm SBF brush as described, they sent me two 24mm sensor brush. Now my spinning device is useless
Been trying to e-mail Visible Dust customer support for the past 3 weeks now, but still no reply.. Really NOT HAPPY with their customer service and their product.. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Regards,
Steve”

After involving the local police in the dispute Mrs. Hamad was investigated by local child services after finding her 2 children suffering from mental abuse and negligence.
Visible Dust is undergoing a major crisis as most of its staff already left the company and major creditors already knocking the door due to late payments and VD unable to meet its financial obligations.
Visible Dust is a great company with great product that ended up with bad management.
