A very good entry level camera
“Portrait, landscape, sport, etc. I tried my best to take comparative photo’s of the Sony Alpha SLT-A37K with the Canon T3 in as identical conditions as I could. The end results were mostly what I was expecting. For most modes the pictures between the two cameras were largely identical. Top Notch Entry Level Camera w/ Advanced Features
“The A37′s ISO 100-16,000 equivalent range is exceptional at lower ISO settings and still good OK at ISO 1600. At ISO 6400 detail becomes smudged and process-sharpened edges show as artifacts. The Sony SLT-A37 features a Translucent Mirror Technology which enables the camera is able to shoot and focus simultaneously by utilizing the image sensor and the Phase Detection AF sensor. It makes the camera is different with conventional DSLRs that can only shoot or focus with the speed and precision of Phase Detection AF. While with 16.1 MP Resolution, this camera allows you to get incredible detail and gorgeous enlargements with less noise even in low light conditions.

The camera also use an Exmor image sensor which delivers more than 4,000 column-parallel A/D converters, it makes this camera enable to continuous shooting at up to 7 frames per second. Beside it, the high sensitivity ISO of 16000 lets you enjoy beautiful images that captured in low light situation with low noise and without sacrificing detail. There is a Steadyshot INSIDE stabilization for reducing the blur caused by camera shake, it has function as image stabilization in the camera body itself ensures you will get clear and sharp images.

In addition, Sony SLT-A37 is able to record Full HD 1080/60i/24p movies that you can be chosen in 1080/60i or 24p AVCHD format or in PC-friendly 1080/30p MP4 format. It also has capability to capture 3D Images by featuring 3D Sweep Panorama Mode which lets you capture vast scenic vistas and 16:9 shots in spectacular 3D.
