Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 Reviews
PhotographyBlog reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“Whilst the additional auto ISO setting works well, surprisingly good results are to be had up to and including ISO 1600, what visible noise there is at this setting comparable with performance at ISO 800 from rival point and shoots, as we found in our review of the TX5…. the TX7′s Exmor R CMOS sensor does seem to live up to its manufacturer’s hype.”

CNET.UK reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 is capable of capturing colourful, detailed images. This compact camera’s touchscreen controls are also clearly labelled and easily navigated, but we’re not sure it’s the best option in its price range.”

InfoSync reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
” the TX7 will go places in low light that no other point-and-shoots can. Even at higher ISO levels, the camera exhibited less noise than we would have expected…. In this class, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 kicked out one of the best imaging performances we’ve ever seen from a style cam. “

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
” I feel it produces high-quality photos, and does so much faster than the large majority of it’s competition; especially with it’s 10fps burst mode… we feel the DSC-TX7 will please most users, and offers a good value for those who want the latest in Sony’s advanced technologies packed into a slim camera. “

CNET reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“The good: Speedy shooting performance; slim, stylish design; plenty of fun, useful features; very good low-light photo quality for its class. The bad: Soft photos, videos; poor battery life. The bottom line: The fast-shooting Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 is a slick, feature-laden ultracompact, but its price doesn’t guarantee perfection. “

ImagingResource reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“Overall, our second sample did much better than the first, but not quite as good as the Sony TX5. If you expect your camera to perform like the 12-megapixel cameras from the last two years, the Sony TX7 is probably not for you; but if you don’t think you’ll do much image enlarging or cropping, the Sony TX7 more than fits the bill.”

DigitalTrends reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“We have no reservations whatsoever recommending the DSC-TX7. Is it a perfect camera? No such thing exists, but if you’re looking for a quality point-and-shoot capable of taking good stills and the best videos we’ve ever shot with a digicam, put this DigitalTrends’ Editor’s Choice at the top of your list. “

PocketLint reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“Sleek and small, the Sony Cyber-shot TX7 has a nice active display and good build. The slide down front cover is a bit fiddly and the on-screen controls are small, requiring use of the supplied stylus, which could easily get lost. However, image quality is good, noise is kept under control – mostly – and the HD video and Sweep Panorama settings are a joy. “

CameraLabs reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“While previous experiments with touch-screens have often left us wondering whether they were worth the effort, the TX7 feels like a natural and desirable progression from physical buttons. If you want a touch-screen model with some unique features, the TX7 comes Recommended…”

Cameras.uk reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“The Cybershot DSC TX7 is hard to beat if you are looking for a touch controlled pocket camera. It has a very sleek design, very impressive shutter lag times and takes a good snapshot. It is packed with features.”

PhotographyBay reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“The Exmor R CMOS technology that Sony is throwing into its upper-end point and shoot cameras lately is stellar. This very sensitive image sensor allows for solid performance throughout the ISO range. While you will encounter a lot of noise at the upper-end of the ISO range, the TX7 packs quite a punch for a compact point and shoot.”

TechTree reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“the quality of the images and the videos is really good, not something that you expect from a compact camera. There are no really major cons as such with the camera, except for the price. But if you can afford it and more importantly you want a slim and pocketable camera, then the Sony TX7 is the one to go for. “

DCI reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-TX7 and writes;
“the noise is consistently lower than our comparison models at the lower ISO settings, and is still competitive above ISO 800.”

Best Camera I have ever purchased Rating:

“finally Sony has perfected there camera my girlfriend loves it she was a die hard cannon camera fan but after i got her this TX-7 she will never go back to cannon” – Dallas
Awesome camera [5/5]
“Very nice camera, low light pics are amazing, i love the features that detect until you smile for it to take the photo, and the timer that detects when everyones in the photo. Would like to be able to plug a usb cable straight into the camera but this seems to be a limitation of the actual size of the camera, also would like to flick a switch to change from recording in 60i and 50i”
