Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 Reviews

ImagingResource reviews the Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 and writes;
“Like all T-series Sony digicams, the T20 is easy to take along, fitting comfortably in nothing more than a shirt pocket. With the sliding lens cover, it’s also ready for action as soon as you are. And its shutter lag is so slight, you won’t have to anticipate the action.”

Cameras.UK reviews the Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 and writes;
“When the ISO setting is increased to ISO 400 picture quality is roughly what you would expect. Noise begins to creep into the photo and although the standard is better than some cameras produce you are still likely to be able to notice the dip in quality in any printed photograph. ”

CNET reviews the Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 and writes;
“Performance results were pleasingly quick in our lab tests. The DSC-T20 took 1.3 seconds to start up and capture its first JPEG, and took 1.3 seconds between JPEGs thereafter with the flash turned off. When we turned the flash on, that wait increased to 2.9 seconds. Shutter lag measured an impressive 0.4 second in our high-contrast test and 1.3 seconds in our low-contrast test, which mimic bright and dim shooting conditions, respectively.”

GoodGearGuide reviews the Sony Cybershot DSC-T20 and writes;
“Compacts also often struggle when it comes to image noise, but here the T20 really excelled with an Imatest result of 0.61% at ISO 100. Most compacts score closer to 0.80%, so this is an excellent result with our shots being clean and speckle free. As anticipated, the shots gradually degraded as we increased the sensitivity, and at ISO 400 and above they weren’t really useable.”
