It's been almost 4 month that I bought that camera. I probably taken more then 3500 images with it. the uses and the focus is too good but kinda hard focusing devices if zoom too close. manual settings and the color filter gives u a new look of the images and also the in editing option. very addictive which make you keep taking shots.. specially the night scenes with the remote to avoid blur. the DRO mode works too well.
Bad :: the battery life is poor. thinking of buying a spare battery next month

I have been using my H50 for about 2 months now in Iraq and have photographed over 1300 images since arriving with this camera. The majority of my photo's taken from the H50 has been very good and people are quick to point out the clarity. The zoom lens on this camera has been one of the biggest functions that i enjoy very much while on assignment here. It makes shooting a whole lot easier, especially in hard to reach spots and etc.

just bought the H50 on Friday and used it at a wedding on Saturday on loch lomond. It was simply stunning! Outshone my fathers a350 in most situations. Especially due it fitting in your sporran (just) while dancing! Usedthe nikon but I prefered the Sony layout and menus, they are quirky but fast to use. I have large hands and had no issue bumping the wrong keys. Got the camera from Jessops online and picked up from store for a twenty quid over 200 notes!

Sony H50, Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ18S or Nikon Coolpix P80?
Debating between these 3 cameras for indoor and outdoor shots of active grandchildren at everyday activities and school concerts , weddings, scenery, - need a camera that covers it all!
