Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 Reviews
Pocket-Lint reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“Overall this is nice little compact with a long zoom lens, it’s a shame it lacks an optical viewfinder though as the battery life was a little suspect. But it is obviously a camera meant for the (slightly) more adventurous snapper, and as such it fits the bill very well indeed.”

“Our indoor images were also very good. The camera does a very good job with and without the flash, on adjusting the white balance and keeping colors looking natural…”

PhotographyBlog reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“At the lowest setting, a well-exposed and properly focused photo prints beautifully in 30x40cm size, even if seasoned pixel peepers have no problem finding some noise in 100% crops on screen. So in the end.. you can’t go too far wrong with the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10.”

DCR reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“..the performance is adequate up through ISO 400. At ISO 100 the detail is of course the best. Shifting up to ISO 200 still shows good detail, although I perceive it as slightly warmer overall. Personally, I would use ISO 200 and ISO 400 interchangeably depending on available light”

PCWorld reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“This camera has a big zoom for its size, and features some useful program modes and manual setting possibilities, but if you want super-crisp photos at a resolution higher than 1600×1200, you’ll want to look elsewhere.”

Cameras.uk reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“This camera will appeal to anyone who needs plenty of zoom, but is looking for a smaller camera to carry around. With a manual exposure mode, a fast responding shutter, good all round photo quality, you have a camera that is very impressive.”

InfoSync reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“Colors are accurate, if slightly washed-out, and noise is kept to a minimum, even in the dark foreground along the left-hand side. Still, there is some color-bleed visible, and edges adjacent to the sky are afflicted with noticeable chromatic aberration. ”

CNET reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“The good: Capable of excellent photos outdoors in good light; compact and comfortable. The bad: No semimanual exposure modes; lens distortion; no zooming during movie capture; poor high-ISO noise profile; so-so auto white balance indoors. The bottom line: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10 is a decent budget megazoom that can deliver very nice outdoor shots, but its photo quality falls short in other respects. ”

PCMag reviews the Sony CyberShot DSC-H10 and writes;
“In the lab, I encountered some other issues. While the pop-up flash was bright, many of my flash shots were overexposed. In some cases, this resulted in blown-out images that weren’t usable. Daylight shots, on the other hand, were bright and vivid,”

I have used this camera for one year, i can only say that it has delivered above all expectations, the photgraphing have been extremely fun, and this camera has captured things i never dared to dream about, very artistic and explorative camera.
It has its downs, i dont like the pics it does on simple landscape, but i couldnt dream of a better companion in photography then the dsc h10, never let me down, and actually rather stunned me occasionally.
for instance this pic.

This pic i have photoshopped the background, there was a window there, but the magpie is untouched.

I would love to get a camera where the quality of the image equals the proffesional cameras, im just worried that i will buy an expensive camera that wil not be able to deliver the joy and artistic touch that i think this Sony camera can. Ive tried a proffesional nikon in nightime, and i was more satisfied with pictures my sony did. If you come across this camera, you will be happy 🙂
