Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650 Launched

LAS VEGAS (CES Booth #14200), Jan. 9, 2012. Sony has launched a new point-and-shoot cameras, it is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650. The camera offers a new 360° Sweep Panorama mode and image stabilization technologies to creative picture effects. Features include a 16.1-megapixel, 5x optical zoom, 720p HD movie capture, 3.0″ LCD, iAuto, Smile Shutter™ and Face Detection. All of this features support the camera to provide high performance on all of your activities and produce excellent images with detail result. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650 will be available in silver, black and red this February for about $140.

With a 16.1 effective megapixel CCD image sensor that combined with a Carl Zeiss-branded 5x optical zoom lens, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650 is able to produce outstanding image. The lens offers a 35mm-equivalent range from a generous 25mm wide angle to a moderate 125mm telephoto lets you get close of your subject. While the optical image stabilization is effectively reduce the blur of your images caused by camera shake.

The camera comes with a 3.0-inch Clear Photo TFT LCD display that offers high resolution of 230,400 dots for easy framing and reviewing images. It also offers a multi-point autofocus system with a face detection system including face tracking to provide crisp images result of all face your family and friends. In addition, the face detection function is also used to provide a Smile Shutter function that automatically triggers the shutter when your subject is smiling.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W650 also comes with additional features such as Intelligent Auto Mode, Anti-blink Function, Natural Flash, Soft Skin mode, Dynamic Range Optimizer, Picture Effect for more expressive photos, and Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode.
