Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R Reviews
Imaging-resource reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R and writes;
“By removing the optical low-pass filter, the RX1R delivers considerably more detail and sharpness than the RX1 in a wide variety of shooting situations — though ultimately we think this Special Edition is likely most ideal for landscape photography.”
Ephotozine reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R and writes;
“For those that are looking for the highest image quality possible in a camera that is as compact as possible, then the Sony Cyber-shot RX1R certainly delivers impressive results, however the price is likely to put the general user off. For those trying to decide between the RX1R and original, then the RX1R would suit those looking for sharper images, and if landscapes or similar detailed shots are important to you then the RX1R would be a good choice.”
Photographyblog reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R and writes;
“This camera really does deliver DSLR-like performance and image quality in a pocketable format, music to the ears of most enthusiasts, with the exception of the auto-focusing speed, which lags behind the very best contrast-based systems.”
Amateurphotographer reviews the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R and writes;
“With the Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R, Sony has taken one of the best digital compact cameras available in the form of the RX1, and offered photographers an alternative. Whether it is better or worse than the RX1 depends on what you do with the camera. The removal of the anti-aliasing filter does what you would expect it to, and raw images especially have a superb amount of detail.”
