Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 is a compact camera system recently launched by Sony on 16 Okotober 2013. The camera is equipped with a 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor 20.2 Megapixel resolution the same as RX100 II but more powerful thanks to the combination with the BIONZ processor X to produce high quality images with fast performance. In addition, the RX10 also has a Carl Zeiss lens 24-200mm f/2.8, 3.0-inch Xtra Fine display monitor that can be tilted out, XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, and the ability to record Full HD 1080 / p at 60 and 24fps. As for the connectivity, this camera offers a built-in wireless and NFC that allows you to transfer image files. And several other features such as ISO125-12800, hot-shoe and the control ring and Super Sonicwave Motor for fast autofocus. This camera went on sale with a price range of $1,298.00 at the end of November 2013.

Features & Design

As described in the opening paragraph, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 offers many interesting features of the updated camera features RX1 and RX100. These features ensure that you will get high quality pictures with its speedy performance and easy connectivity and control and design support you to use the camera with ease. Additionally, this camera has a body made from magnesium alloy that resists dust and moisture.

With the design of the body and lens, RX10 looks like a megazoom camera offers stunning image quality and advanced features. The camera has a safe and comfortable grip when used in a hand, the grip allows you to use it with one hand. Sturdy construction and placement of appropriate control adds to your comfort using this camera. The camera lens also has two control ring to adjust the focal length and aperture. In addition to fast aperture, the lens uses Super Sonicwave Motor (SSM) that allows the lens to move and stop quickly.

RX10 also offers an electronic viewfinder (EVF) and LCD monitor resolution 1.228k and can be tilted up to 84 degrees upward or 43 degrees downward making it easier for users to see images that have been taken to clear even in bright situations. While electronic viewfinder with OLED display has a resolution 1.440k that helps you see the picture clear and sharp from corner to corner.

In addition, the RX10 has a function that is easily controlled via external buttons located at the top and behind the camera. Wireless connectivity and NFC as well as very easy to use for transferring images from camera to compatible devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Performance & Image Quality

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 has a Carl Zeiss lens which offers a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a focal length range of 24-200mm to capture incredible images in dark or dimly lit situations.
