The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V offers a 18.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor which allows users to capture ultra-high definition images. This sensors also deliver great images processing which reduces noise levels and produces beautiful images with outstanding detail even in low light situation. The sensor has been improved focusing speed and sensitivity which results fast, DSLR-like focusing speeds, even in low light. While the Clear Image Zoom that combined with optical zoom allows user get closer photos from their object.


The camera is able to record crystal clear movies at the highest resolution available with capabilities for 60p in 1080. This ability also lets you playback the movies on your HD TV. In addition, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V offers dual record capability of stills and movies which allows users to shoot both at the same time. It also enable to capture full 18.2 megapixel resolution images at up to 10fps to ensure you can capture images of fast moving subject. There is a mechanical shutter which effectively reduce distortion when continuously shooting moving subjects.
