For movies, if you want to reduce internal noise, turn off continuous focussing. (P.S.: For higher quality shots try shooting in widescreen high def. mode!) This is one great "all-'round" camera (Although I'd look at the latest models as the H5 has a 3inch LCD). I bought it to see if I liked photography enough to warrant spending the money on a DSLR (A:yes). The 12x zoom is highly addicting...
