Sony SLT-A57 Reviews

Imaging-resource reviews the Sony SLT-A57 and writes;
“It seems like an ideal camera for any kind of photography. I don’t generally get jazzed about unusual modes like HDR, and I seldom go for resolution-enhancement technology, as is found in the Clear Image Zoom function, but I’ll still give it a try. What’s most impressive is having access to 12 or even 10 frames per second in a sub-$800 camera.”
rating: N/A

CNET reviews the Sony SLT-A57 and writes;
“The A57 positively flew through my tests, producing consistently sharp, bright images. The 12fps burst mode is particularly impressive and I couldn’t fault the level of detail and colour rendered in the above shots.”
Rating: ★★★★½

Ephotozine reviews the Sony SLT-A57 and writes;
“the A55 has the added benefit of being much smaller, cheaper, with 10fps continuous shooting at full resolution. The Sony A57 is an excellent camera, capable of taking great photos, with low noise and bright saturated colour,”

Photographyblog reviews the Sony SLT-A57 and writes;
“Image quality is excellent, with results from the 16 APS-C sensor rivaling the main DSLR competition and in most cases surpassing the Compact System Camera alternatives, especially if you want to achieve shallow depth-of field effects.”
Rating: ★★★★½

Techradar reviews the Sony SLT-A57 and writes;
“Generally, the Sony Alpha a57 is simple to operate, with a decent array of dedicated controls and shortcuts spread across the camera body. The versatile swivelling LCD screen encourages creativity when it comes to framing stills and videos, the EVF is great and image quality is very pleasing – particularly when it comes to noise control.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

PCMAG reviews the Sony Alpha SLT-A57 and writes;
“Imatest also checks for noise, which can rob photos of detail when the camera’s sensitivity to light, measured in ISO, is increased. The Alpha 57 keeps noise under the 1.5-percent noise threshold through ISO 3200, which will let you shoot in dim light with ease. More impressive is that there is very little evidence of detail loss at this setting.”
Rating: ★★★½☆
