“The photos from this Sony are impressive. Color is great. Exposure is spot-on. It takes decent shots even at high ISOs (up to 1600 look very sharp). Movies look incredible. It records truly DSLR-grade photos. My DSLR is dated so it won’t sound like much saying that it takes better photos than my Canon D20, but, wow. The Perfect Camera for Soccer Moms
“as a mom of 2 kids, i need a camera that: small enough so it can fit into my handbag, amazing image quality, has fast focus ability (taking pics of kids running around indoor doesn’t work with my older Oly E-P1), screen can rotate 180° so that you can take self-portraits & social photography with friends, built in flash for indoor and night shots, large sensor (I want some nice bokeh and ability to take pictures in lower light), user friendly, intuitive menus, ability to shoot in RAW, And i can happily say that Nex 3N fill all these criteria.” – By Shanti

Great upgrade from a point and shoot
“The image quality is the same (except for the NEX 7). The small size of this camera makes it convenient to carry with you. It takes at least as good a quality image as less expensive DSLRs like the Canon Rebels. It’s easy to use and Sony adds great extras like the sweep panorama and anti-motion blur modes. Sony Alpha NEX-3N Features

The Sony Alpha NEX-3N offers an Exmor APS-C HD CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 16.1-megapixels and combined with a BIONZ image processor for clear, detailed, low-noise images even at ISO 16000 sensitivity in low light situations. The camera also accept Sony E-Mount and A-Mount Lenses, including the supplied Power Zoom (PZ) lens, which has an effective focal length of 16-50mm (35mm equivalent: 24-75mm) and is equipped with both ED and aspherical elements.

This camera has a 3.0-inch LCD Monitor which offers a resolution of 460,800 dots and tilts 180° up and 13° down making the camera is easy to capture self-portraits. Moreover, Sony Alpha NEX-3N is able to record Full HD 1080i video at 60fps and 1080p video at 24fps. This camera also allow you capture videos in your choice of the Blu-ray quality AVCHD or PC-friendly MP4 format, and record stereo sound in Dolby Digital (AC-3) or MPEG-4 AAC-LC format. Not only that, A Wide ISO Range of 100-16000 and advanced noise reduction enable you to capture clear, detailed images in low light situations.

Sony Alpha NEX-3N uses Auto and Manual Focus. The Autofocus modes include Single-shot AF(AF-S), Continuous AF(AF-C) and Auto Focus. You can use Direct Manual Focus (DMF) to switch quickly between AF and MF while keeping your eyes focused on your subject. Additionally, the camera has Built-in Flash to help you get clear images in low light situations. There is an Auto Object Framing which automatically recognizing the scene and cropping accordingly for the perfect composition.

Furthermore, Sony Alpha NEX-3N is equipped with advanced features such as Picture Effect Modes, Creative Style, Superior Auto Mode, Anti-Motion Blur Mode, Face Detection / Smile Shutter, Speed Priority Continuous Mode, Panorama Shooting, Scene Modes, and more. All of those features make the camera is easy to capture an exceptional images quality and increase your ability in photography to be a professional photographer.
