Sony A900 Reviews
LetsGoDigital reviews the Sony A900 and writes;
“Although color reproduction is not perfect and accurate, it will certainly be satisfactory. The resolution is high and is able to capture lots of details… The Sony approach of certain functionalities we take for granted, and we can’t but conclude that the Sony Alpha A900 is a valuable enhancement of the current DSLR market. “

PopPhoto reviews the Sony A900 and writes;
“Color? Not as accurate as most pro-level DSLRs — though, with an average Delta E of 9.0, it ranks Extremely High in our rating. Also, while noise remained at Very Low and Low through ISO 800, it rose to Moderately Low territory at ISO 1600, hit Moderate by ISO 3200, and reached Unacceptable at the top sensitivity of ISO 6400. “

CameraLabs reviews the Sony A900 and writes;
“the A900’s 24.6 Megapixel images certainly contain a lot of detail, but in our tests there wasn’t much difference between them and those from 21.1 Megapixel Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III… “

BJP-Online reviews the Sony A900 and writes;
“Fine details show quite constant results from ISO100 to 400, with just some salt-and-pepper pixels visible. At ISO800 fine graphical structures turn slightly chromatic, which rises visibly at 1600 and 3200. Fine lines remain well modulated. “

ImagingResource reviews the Sony A900 and writes;
“Sony A900’s image quality is truly awe-inspiring… The Sony A900 is the current resolution leader in 35mm-equivalent digital SLR cameras, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change soon.”

Sony A900 Review by CNET;
LuminousLandscape has posted a field report of the Sony Alpha A900 and writes;
“the noise levels are very good, in fact very similar to the Canon images. This is pleasing, although some fine detail, as mentioned above, may be masked by the in-camera NR…All things considered I’d have to give this camera a big thumbs up.
