Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM is a Standard Prime Lens tat designed for APS-C format digital SLR cameras and also fits with Canon EF-S Mount Cameras. The lens construction consists of 9 Elements in 8 Groups with 50.7ยบ Angle of View, and 9 (rounded) Diaphragm Blades. It has Aperture Range of f/1.4 – 16 with minimum focus distance up to 30 cm / 11.8 in. and 62mm of filter size. The lens uses Hyper Sonic Motor for Smooth Autofocus and Brass Bayonet Mount. It measure (Diameter x Length) 74.2 x 63.3mm/ 2.9 x 2.5in and weight 435g / 15.3 oz.

Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM Features

Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM has focal length of 30 mm that equivalent to 45mm on a 35mm camera makes it ideal for artistic photography on an APS-C format digital SLR. Featuring fast maximum aperture of f/1.4, the lens is able to provide superb performance in low light situations and provides shallow depth of field focus that makes it to be ideal lens for many different types of photography. The optical design that consists of 9 elements in 8 groups and 9 rounded aperture blades allowing the lens capture sharp detail and nice background bokeh.


The lens has minimum focus distance up to 11.8″ (30 cm) with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:6.8, and also features HSM which ensures quiet, accurate and high-speed autofocus; the Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce flare and ghosting, while the TSC reduces expansion and contraction of the internal lens barrel. A rear focusing system combined with a newly developed autofocus algorithm and Hyper Sonic Motor provide smooth and accurate autofocus. Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM also Compatible with the Sigma USB Dock which enables firmware updates and focusing adjustments.
