My Samsung S85 lens is getting stuck out too. This seems to be a defect has there been any recalls? Is there anyway of fixing it? We have barely used it, I doubt we have taken 100 pictures yet.

Can you lubricate the lens?

I have tried batteries, new, lithium etc… no luck.

Steveo, I bought one too and have the exact same problem, the flash is bad! What did you do with yours?

My Samsung S85 won’t turn on and STAY on. When I push the power button, the green light comes on, and then shuts off in about 2 seconds. I’ve tried replacing batteries with new ones, over, and over again. It’s only 10 months old.
Any suggestions?

The format feature does exactly what it says. It formats the memory card. In the process, it wipes out any existing contents in the card.

If you have not tried storing additional content or making other changes to the card, then you may still be able to retrieve some of the content.

Do a Yahoo or Google search on card recovery utilities. They may be able to help.
