Samsung EX2F Reviews
CNET reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“There are plenty of high-end options and build quality is first class. Smart features like built-in Wi-Fi and the integrated neutral density filter, alongside the speed with which you can get to key settings courtesy of the double mode wheels, front-mounted scroller and quick menus, all count in its favour.”

Digitalcamerainfo reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“As of right now, the Samsung EX2F seems to be the best compact option at $500, which used to be the average price in this category. We draw a lot of comparisons to the Sony RX100, but it’s easy to forget that model costs $150 more than most of the competition.”

PCADvisor reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“While that fast aperture and ‘sensible’ resolution of 12.4 megapixels suggests the EX2F as a great tool for low light photography,..”

Amateurphotographer reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“Like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7, the Samsung EX2F is a solid camera without being spectacular. It builds well on its predecessor and is an attractive proposition in many ways, such as its good build quality, fast and sharp lens, and variety of shooting modes.”

Digitalversus reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“The EX2F is a very consistent camera in this field, staying on the better side of average without ever moving up into the exceptional. Start-up takes around two seconds, photo-to-photo turnaround generally takes just under two seconds (even with RAW shots), and focusing takes just under half a second in all conditions.”

ITproportal reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“The EX2F is a good example of getting what you pay for. It’s the cheapest of the high-end advanced compacts, and while it does offers some excellent features, good overall performance and outstanding low-light results, it simply can’t match the image quality of its more expensive rivals. Nonetheless, it’s a decent camera, a pleasure to use and full of clever technology.”

Expertreviews reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“The Samsung comes top for breadth of features, with an app for iOS and Android for browsing and transferring photos, and another that provides a remote viewfinder and shutter release. It can also control the zoom, flash, self-timer and resolution settings, and transfer the last photo to the smartphone or tablet. It’s great for group self-portraits, “

T3 reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“Though you are still buying a compact camera rather than DSLR replacement, fortunately the EX2F looks sufficiently serious and high quality that you just might want to.”

PCMAG reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“The Samsung EX2F isn’t the best compact point-and-shoot you can buy—that honor is still held by our Editors’ Choice Sony RX100—but it is a very good one, especially if you’re in the market for a camera with Wi-Fi.”

Trustedreviews reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“Overall image quality is, on the whole, impressive. The Samsung EX2F’s slightly larger than average 1/1.7-inch sensor is able to capture quite a wide dynamic range – at least by compact camera standards – with shadow detail remaining visible without having to sacrifice too much in the way of highlights. As a result of this, images produced by the EX2F have a pleasingly even tonal range and appear natural straight out of the camera.”

Pocket-lint reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“the f/1.4 maximum aperture (which dips to f/2.7 at the 80mm equivalent) is right up there with the brightest available; the lower ISO settings deliver sharp, detailed images; and the vari-angle OLED screen is great for unusual shooting positions.”

Photographyblog reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“Image quality is very good for a compact, thanks to the larger than usual CCD sensor and the sharp and bright 24-80mm lens. While some people will find the 3.3x zoom limiting, it does help to ensure that the picture quality remains at a high level throughout the focal range, with little distortion, chromatic aberrations or even noise until you use ISO 800 or faster.”

Techradar reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“Set to have a full retail price of £429 (around $670), Samsung has extended the EX2F’s low-light credentials with a 1/1.7-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and by keeping the resolution to 12 million pixels for better noise control.”

Ephotozine reviews the Samsung EX2F and writes;
“The Samsung EX2F is a good compact camera capable of taking high quality photos, with a bright f/1.4 lens with image stabilisation – this makes it extremely capable when shooting in low light situations.”

Best Camera in it’s Class. PERIOD
“Fast & Sharp (even wide open) 24-80mm (equivalent) f/1.4-2.7 lens. – The extra 8mm at the long end you’ll never really feel, but the extra 1/2 stop faster lens throughout does help especially at dusk and dawn.” – By NuReality

“The low light capibility of this camera is amazing rarely needs a flash to capture picture at night or low light situations. depth of field 1.4 f lens is great. Obviously not a professional reviewer. but as owner of various cameras this one is turning to be one of my favorite ones to use.” – By Laz images

Loving the low light capabilities and the articulating screen
“F1.4 is great for filming indoor videos where lighting can be dim. Articulating screen + wide angle 24mm for DIY family portraits (at arm’s length). Being able to position the camera with the screen facing us saves a lot of time, and as you know, this time crucial for avoiding toddler restlessness. Also, seeing his own smile in the front-facing screen grabs the attention of this toddler and so he is faced the correct direction.” – By EC

Samsung EX2
“The Schneider lens on the EX2 is superb and alone worth the price of the camera. I teach photography at the college level and my students bring in every DSLR brand available with their cheap kit zoom lens. The lens on the EX2 smacks them all down. My work camera is a Canon 5DmkII with Canon L series glass with which the lens on the EX2 is competitive.” – By Joseph C. Angert

Quality build, Good IQ, Right Size
“The articulating screen is great to use, no more kneeling to get low shots, and the display is super crisp. The macro, which is always something I like to use, paired with the wide 24mm field of view lets you produce beautiful close ups. Samsung’s Mobilelink pairs to an IPhone perfectly and images moved over quickly via wi-fi.” – By M. A. Torres
