Ricoh Caplio GX200 Reviews
DigicamReview reviews the Ricoh Caplio GX200 and writes;
” Image quality is generally good - with good colour, saturation and contrast. Noise is higher than average compared to the competition, but detail is generally good (until ISO400 and above where results could be classed as unusable). There was some red eye in group photos, but generally red-eye was low. ”

CNET.UK reviews the Ricoh Caplio GX200 and writes;
“The GX200 would make a good second camera for keen photographers who don’t always want to carry around their regular kit, but its appeal otherwise might be limited. After all, everyday snappers just looking for an easy-to-use camera which takes great pics can find something just as handy for half the price.”

ThinkCamera reviews the Ricoh Caplio GX200 and writes;
“24mm wide angle shots add a real edge, the macro mode is better than any other compact out there, Raw shooting in Adobe DNG and the level detector make for some excellent features all tied into a portable and discreet body. ”

PhotographyBlog reviews the Ricoh Caplio GX200 and writes;
“The Ricoh GX200’s image quality is good. It handled chromatic aberrations very well indeed with limited purple fringing effects appearing only in high contrast situations. Macro performance is also a stand-out highlight.. ”

TrustedReviews reviews the Ricoh Caplio GX200 and writes;
“The GX200 is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to the images…At lower ISO settings in good light it can certainly produce the goods…. From ISO 400 and over image noise spoils the pictures. ISO 400 is gritty but usable, but 800 and 1600 are frankly abysmal ”
