Ricoh R10 Detailed Digital Camera Review 10-10-08

I have used this camera for 8 days and believe it to be the best digital camera I’ve ever owned.

The features and results are the best..

. Very compact (pocketable) 22mm at the deepest point
. High Definition 28mm wide angle lens; 7.1 Optical zoom 200mm
. New lens results in sharper photo images
. Large 3″ LCD screen (new); 460,000 pixels produces excellent results for the most discriminating photographer
.Four face recognition (improved over the R8)finds faces (w/blue squars around face)and sets the best exposures
. 10 Scenes modes to choose from
. Excellent results in low light situations
. Flash compensation (new) -2.0 to +2.0 ; flash now up to 10 feet from subject/s
. Subject level indicator (new).. bar turns green when OK to shoot photo
.Macro mode; take photo/s down to 1.0cm or with zoom macro
.White balance and color compensation handled in the camera.. user can make a photo lighter or darker; add re, magenta, green, blue colors
.Customize image settings (new)i.e. Contrast, sharpness, color depth
    . Set ISO from 80 to 1600

You’ll be glad to own this superb digital camera; available on the web from 2 sellers (east coast or west coast) Check out the RICOH R10 color brochure also available on line.
note:I also bought a new HP D7460 printer and it produces vivid, clear high definition full color prints and prints excellent text as well.
