Hi, could anyone give a step-by-step instruction to explain the “how” to do the below?? If so – thank you.

On step 3, you either have to invert the selection again before picking “reveal selection,” or else select “hide selection” (without inverting the selection).

Also, make sure you get rid of *any* background color at the edge of the part of the image that sticks out when you’re painting the mask — otherwise it’ll look messy when you’re done.

Step 3 is a mess.
Hence, to me, the tutorial rendered useless.
