Photograph or Snapshot?

Hey, here’s a question for you…

What is the difference between a snapshot and a photograph? What are the things that set them apart? What are the defining elements? And can an image be both?

Photograph or Snapshot?

I have some ideas, but some things are still a bit fuzzy. I’d love to hear what you think.

My comments in re this photo: Living proof of the incredible insipidity of the U.S. governments of LBJ and Nixon in supporting one
group of criminals after another in the Saigon
government. The real heroes of this “immoral
and illegal war” (the verdict of the U.N.) were
the people of Vietnam – both the civilians and
military of the North as well as the South. The
real villains of this war were the Americans.
However this sets with you clearly shows what you know of this insane, dead-end and costly war
and what you do not.
