CamerasUK reviews the Pentax Optio M20 (rating:73/100) and writes;
“My biggest gripe is the lack of sharpness shown in the outdoor photos. This type of scenic shot should be a bread and butter shot for any digital camera. Lighting conditions are excellent and this should help to show the camera at its very best. In all three of my scenic shots focusing is very soft. Even when compared against other similar cameras this is disappointing..As far as I am aware the Pentax Optio M20 is the cheapest seven megapixel digital camera made by a leading brand. It is easy to use and very straightforward. I also like the simple design and style that make it small enough to slip into a pocket.”

DigitalCameraInfo reviews the Pentax Optio M20 and writes;
“While there are a few problems to consider with this camera – questionable flash positioning and a rubber flap that exposes the batteries and memory card – the camera is competitively priced for the market. With significant resolution, average image quality, in-camera editing options, and a general design that promotes ease of use, the M20 is a reasonable candidate for point-and-shooters looking to stay below the $200 mark. “
