Pentax Announces Optio VS20

DENVER, Colo. January 25, 2012. Pentax has announced a new digital compact camera, it is the Optio VS20. This camera offers a 16-megapixel images sensor with a high-power 20X optical zoom lens (28-560mm equivalent) including a second vertical shutter-release button with zoom lever for effortless portrait oriented shooting. It comes with a new Handheld Night Snap mode to capture beautiful images with minimal blur and noise. The camera also add some features such as a large 3.0 inch LCD display, Auto Picture mode, Triple Shake Reduction, new Scene modes, and more. This camera will be available with cost of $249.95 in February 2012.

With extra-powerful 20x optical zoom lens covering focal lengths from 28mm wide angle to 560mm super-telephoto (in the 35mm format), the Optio VS20 allows users to capture images in a wide range of subjects and scenes. While an extra shutter-release button and a second zoom lever make the camera more comfortable hold of the camera during vertical-position shooting.

It produces high-quality images with extra-fine resolution powered by combination of 16 megapixels, a state-of-the-art image engine, a high-performance smc PENTAX zoom lens and the sophisticated CCD-shift-type SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism. There are triple anti-shake protection which allows users capture sharp images with blur-free images result such as CCD-shift-type SR mechanism, Digital SR mode, and Movie SR mode.

Additionally, there are addition features such as High-quality HDTV movie recording, Wireless remote-control shooting, Digital Panorama mode, Digital level and 48 segment grid display functions, Neck strap included, and more.
