Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm F/2.8 ASPH Reviews
Photographyblog reviews the Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm F/2.8 ASPH and writes;
“Optically the lens is a great performer. At all focal lengths, it’s best to stop it down by one f-stop for optimum results – at F2.8 the center and edge sharpness is less acceptable. Chromatic aberrations are only noticeable by their almost complete absence, while distortions are automatically corrected on both Olympus and Panasonic bodies.”
SLRGear reviews the Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm F/2.8 ASPH and writes;
“The Panasonic 12-35mm ƒ/2.8 offers very sharp results, consistent across all focal lengths. The lens offers almost tack-sharp performance when used wide open at ƒ/2.8, with only a bit of softness in the extreme corners; stopping down to ƒ/4 provides solid edge-to-edge sharpness.. The 12-35mm ƒ/2.8 X offers very fast autofocus results, motivated by an in-lens electrical motor that’s very fast and very quiet. Filters attached to the front element of the lens won’t rotate, making life a little easier for polarizer users.”
Ephotozine reviews the Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm F/2.8 ASPH and writes;
“Performance-wise, this lens delivers sharp, contrasty images with low CA and distortion, which should be expected of a pro-spec zoom.”
Camerastuffreview reviews the Panasonic LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm F/2.8 ASPH and writes;
“If you wish to obtain the best possible bokeh, you should use a camera with a full frame sensor. But the Panasonic 12-35 mm delivers beautiful creamy bokeh. As we saw with several Sony lenses which tested good for resolution in combination with the Sony A77 (APS-C), the beautifully round bokeh can show rings.”
