Dear ArtInvent,
No one says anything about HD video because it isn’t matter. No one buys a digital still camera for its HD video. If I want a good HD video camera, I go and buy a good HD video camera; and if I do, I won’t care about still picture quality of that camera. It is like cameras on mobile phone, anyone cares about them?

The best compact camera I have used, great fast lens, good layout of buttons, Raw photos almost match with full size digital SLRs. I would recommend buying the leather case to protect the LX3 as your want this great little camera to last, if you don’t have a LX3 you must have big pockets to carry a full size SLR to out match a LX3.

This camera has very advanced HD video movie mode. Yet there is not ONE comment on how this feature plays out. What gives people? The age of the no-excuses hybrid still-video camera is pretty much here, yet no one has seemed to notice. I would LOVE to have a great little camera like this that takes really good video as well. Reviewers need to wake up to the video aspect.
