Panasonic Lumix FZ70 / FZ72 is a super-zoom camera which is released by Panasonic in July. The camera is equipped with a 16.0 Megapixel image sensor and a 60x f2.8-5.9 20-1200mm zoom lens. With the sensor and the lens making the FZ70 to be one of the super zoom camera competitor for Canon PowerShot SX50 HS and Sony Cyber-shot HX300. You can add options 1.7x telephoto conversion lens that can increase the magnification up to 2040mm on the camera.

If you press the dedicated button movie recording, the camera will automatically record a video for the exposure. And if you use the mode button and then switch to the position of Creative Video, then you can record video in PASM modes. Additionally, you can change the aperture and shutter speed during video recording. It is a control which is unusual when compared with the others super-zoom camera in the same price range, such as the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS and Nikon Coolpix P520.
