Photographyblog reviews the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ60 (FZ62) and writes;
“The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ62 is an appealing super-zoom bridge camera that does most things very well. The £349.99 / $399.95 launch price is high, but the FZ62 offers enough features, image quality and performance to satisfy anyone looking for an all-in-one, do-it-all camera.”

Digitalcamerainfo reviews the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ60 (FZ62) and writes;
“For the model that’s the lesser of Panasonic’s two new FZ-series superzooms, the FZ60 is a pretty impressive camera. It doesn’t match the zoom range of the class-leading ultrazooms anymore, but it does seem to offer solid image quality, based on our brief time with it. We’ll know more when we can give it a proper lab test. It also provides deeper controls than we’re used to seeing at this price, which is always a welcome surprise.”

Cameralabs reviews the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ60 (FZ62) and writes;
“There are a lot of pros and cons to weigh up, but when you’re done comparing all the specifications and weighing up the various pros and cons one thing stands out: in terms of the features it offers for the price, the FZ60 / FZ60 is currently one of the lowest cost, best value super-zooms on the market. That, combined with fact that it also produces great quality images and excels in low light earns it a Recommended rating.”

LOVE LOVE LOVE
“I am currently enrolled in a digital photography class and have fallen in love with this camera. Not only is it able to do all the manual functions I need but it also has great auto functions. I love this camera and have not had any problems with it and have owned in for more than a month now.” – By Rachael

“I considered the FZ-200 but with the difference in price it was hard to justify for my amateur needs. I have not missed RAW for my portrait pictures, the JPEG images from the FZ60 are excellent. I usually only adjusted lighting/contrast and sharpness anyway, and the FZ60 is doing a fine job with white balance set to auto.” – By scootertim

Better image quality than FZ47
“I had owned the Lumix FZ47 and it was a great camera. Although, anything beyond ISO 400 showed a good deal of noise, which I probably par with a 1/2sensor. The FZ60 uses a CMOS sensor compared to the CCD of the FZ47 and I feel this provides a better image! The video on the FZ 60 is much better than the FZ47. This is a very good camera and produces nice images.” – By Detroit4ever

Lumix DMC- FZ60
“The performance is great . The time to first shot, shudder lag/writing to memory is extremely quick and the auto focus is very quick and accurate. Out of 10 quick shots on different types of moving/not quite stationary (eg. pets/kids) maybe 2 aren’t perfect ! This was, like i said, very quick/ fast as possible between shots so that is great when trying to catch those elusive shots that you will usually only get 1 chance to capture.” – By J. M. Becker
