Panasonic DMW-MCFX35 Marine Case User Reviews

DMW-MCFX35 underwater case with an FX35
“The FMCFX35 case comes with o-ring lubricant and silica pouches, but no anti-fog solution. I experienced no fogging, without using anti-fog solution and was pleased with this. All controls for the camera are easily accessible, and the viewing screen is quite large, which is a great advantage over my older Sony’s 1.5″ display! The case has a diffuser filter built in, which certainly helped with backscatter, but the camera’s flash is not very powerful…even at macro distances . After my first trip with this I plan to purchase an external flash — that will make a huge difference in performance. The battery life was excellent. It easily handled two dives per day with heavy flash use and video. The image quality of the photos were good but needed work to make them great. Most required heavy sharpening in iPhoto, as well as color adjustment. I have made good looking 12″x16″ prints from the images. “ – By Rick in Albany

Panasonic DMW-MCFX35 Marine Case Features & Specifications

With the Panasonic DMW-MCFX35 Marine Case Underwater Housing for the Panasonic DMC-FX35, you can use your digital camera to take underwater photos at depths of up to 130′ (40 m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.

A diffuser for the camera’s flash is built onto the housing. This helps when using the camera’s internal flash. For better results underwater, use the internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or Sealife. The camera has an underwater mode setting for available light photography.
