Panasonic DMC-TS20 (FT20) Announced

SECAUCUS, NJ. January 31, 2012. Panasonic today announced the new LUMIX DMC-TS20 (FT20) digital compact camera. The camera offers a 16.1-megapixel images sensor with dustproof, waterproof to 5m, freezeproof to -10 °C and shockproof to 1.5m. It also offer new lens system with 25mm ultra wide angle of view and 4x optical zoom (35mm equivalent: 25-100mm). Features include 720p HD Video Recording in MP4, iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode, Various Special Effects, LUMIX Image Uploader including 2.7-inch Intelligent LCD with High Angle mode and Auto Retouch. The camera will be available on March with pricing to be announced.

The Panasonic DMC-TS20 (FT20) allows users to record 720p HD Video in MP4 format which easy for editing or sharing the videos on PCs or or smartphones. The video also can be instantly uploaded to YouTube. There is dedicated video button to switch photo / video recording quickly. Additionally, video recording is also powered by Optical zoom to get close distance from subject and Active Mode will be effectively minimizes the hand shake, allows users get clear images result.

The camera also comes with an iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode and Various Special Effects allows users more fun and ease to take photos. It consists of several assist functions such as MEGA O.I.S., AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Recognition, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure.

There are interesting features to enjoy like Miniature Effect mode which allows users to creativity make a model or toy town effect. Play back video mode with 10x fast-forwarding making it more comical to watch. Panorama Shot mode which allows users to capture a horizontal or vertical panoramic image.
