Whether it was taking pictures or video at my kids volleygame or taking pictures while on vacation in Europe, the camera has produced excellent images and was never a chore to carry along with 3 lenses in a separate waist pouch. Combining extreme portability with this level of image quality is truly an outstanding achievement. The gap between full size DSLR quality and the compactness and versatility of a point and shoot has greatly diminished. The GF1 should be any traveling photographer's weapon of choice.
