Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario Reviews

Photographyblog reviews the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario and writes;
“Optically the lens is a great performer. At all focal lengths, wide open at f/2.8 the center sharpness is perfectly acceptable, but for edge sharpness it’s best to stop down by two f-stops for optimum results. Chromatic aberrations are only noticeable by their almost complete absence, while distortions are automatically corrected on both Olympus and Panasonic bodies.”

Ephotozine reviews the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario and writes;
“At 35mm and f/2.8 sharpness in the centre of the frame is already approaching outstanding levels, and the clarity towards the edges of the frame is good. Stopping down to f/5.6 results in outstanding sharpness in the centre of the frame, and very good sharpness towards the edges.”

Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario User Reviews

Small and extremely sharp
“I recently tested the 35-100mm f/2.8 lens for Panasonic along with the GH3… The lens and body are weatherproofed and though they got a bit wet when i was crossing a river they weren’t affected. I am really amazed at how sharp this lens is, especially at f/2.8.. I brought the lens to Thailand the other week.. The Thai dancer is in the corner of the frame, and she is still really sharp; most lenses have problems wide open at the edge of the frame. I am impressed.” – By Ira
