Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/2.8 Reviews

Shutterbug reviews the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/2.8 and writes;
“Even at f/2.8, the Zuiko Digital telephoto produced remarkably high sharpness, contrast, and resolution, rating a 9 on my subjective scale of 1-10. Color fringing is visible only in a few backlit images, and only at 300 percent or greater monitor magnification. I would happily shoot all day at f/2.8, although edge sharpness does increase slightly at f/5.6 for an overall rating of 9.6.”

User Opinions

Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/2.8 User Reviews

Excellent Four Thirds Super Telephoto | Rating: ★★★★★
“This lens is simply terrific at both. The colors are excellent, the pictures are crisp across the entire image and there is no chromatic aberration anywhere. The four thirds system provides very quick auto focus, crisp and responsive manual focus and relatively light weight.” – by James D. DeWitt

Scary good lens | Rating: ★★★★★
“It is heavy and powerful. It gets the job done. There is almost no distortion and the it puts me on the field with action. It is not easy to use, a tripod is necessary, although if you have good upper body strength a monopod works. Nothing is like it.” – by Daniel H. Freeman, Jr.

Excellent lens that I rented | Rating: ★★★★★
“this lens is simply amazing. If I had the cash today I would buy this lens tomorrow. It is that good. Autofocus was spot on. Much faster than the 90-250mm..” – by Tony
