Biofos reviews the Olympus Zuiko Digital 7-14mm f/4 and writes;
“The ZD 7-14mm is a fabulous piece of optical engineering and even in my amateur hands shows huge potential; more than I’m ever likely to exploit. In a nutshell its advantages are resolution, sharpness, rendition, ultra-wide zoom, speed and high quality construction.”

Ephotozine reviews the Olympus Zuiko Digital 7-14mm f/4 and writes;
” Resolution is consistent across the full width of the frame, except when the optic is used wide open, where a few differences creep in towards the edge of the frame. That resolution is good enough for all the present 4/3rds cameras and still has a fair amount in reserve. Contrast, by no means bad, lacks slightly when the camera is shooting RAW files but the camera, in this case an E-500, compensates well when shooting Jpegs.”

Cameralabs reviews the Olympus Zuiko Digital 7-14mm f/4 and writes;
“As our results pages show, the 7-14mm exhibits virtually no geometric distortion, impressively low vignetting considering its extreme coverage, and is sharp in the corners throughout its focal range. It’s also very well-built and designed to stand-up to professional use. There’s admittedly some coloured fringing in the extreme corners at wide angle, but otherwise no other technical aspect we can fault it on. “

Popphoto reviews the Olympus Zuiko Digital 7-14mm f/4 and writes;
“Four Thirds system (Olympus and Panasonic) shooters who want to scoop up broad stretches of distant backgrounds, or squeeze tight interiors into a frame, or get within inches of a foreground subject while still filling the frame with plenty of sharp, undistorted background detail, will be well served by this lens.”

I’m fully satisfied with this great lens, | Rating:

Phenominal Lens, | Rating:

“The only way this lens could be better is if there was a way to attach a filter, but with Photoshop you can pretty well duplicate the filter effects so I still give it 5 stars. The DOF is amazing. You can get a flower in focus 2 feet away and at the same time include a building 100 yards away if you are so inclined. You can’t do better than this lens.” – by Marvin R. Doering
Zuiko 7 – 14 mm Wide Angle Lens Review | Rating:

“I bought this lens primarily for the purpose of being able to shoot a restaurant table full of people within close quarters, and yet get everyone included in the frame, without any of the rectilinear or pin cushion distortion one would encounter with most extreme wide angle lenses. This lens by Zuiko from Olympus proved to be the answer to my prayers. I love this lens! There is some distortion that appears to stretch the width of the subjects at the edge of the frame particularly in 7mm mode, but like any lens there is a learning curve that one has to experience to find the sweet spot of a new tool, and this lens is a great tool.” – by John Uske
Fantastic ! | Rating:

“This is one super lens. It is a bit pricey for amateurs, but the quality is excellent. The inability to use filters is a small hindrance with some applications, but with digital technology there are work-arounds. I highly recommend this lens.” – by R Wesley
love it, | Rating:

“The autofocus for that lens is noisy and you can’t fit a filter. But the image quality is really mind blowing, that lens loves sky it really hug the blue sky. It’s not cheap but if you are looking for super wide angel you can’t beat that lens, it worth every penny.. Highly recommended if you can afford it “ – by H. Alhazmi
Amazing Piece of Equipment !! | Rating:

“This lens is one amazing piece of equipment . I’m fairly new to SLR photography but found using it quite easy.Obviously have to yet learn the finer tricks of the trade. It’s a heavy lens which comes with a protective cover. Now coming to the photography itself…pure joy !!! The ability to takes snaps at such a close distance to the subject stands out. It definitely captures more than any lens in the world. I love the distorted images..it adds a totally new dimension to my photography. “ – by PAVAN RAO
