Olympus Tough TG-320 Announced

Hamburg, 10 January 2012. Olympus has announced new compact cameras including the Olympus Tough TG-320 that offers Shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof with a worry-free guarantee in fantastic value for money. The camera has 14-Megapixel images sensor which lets you capture HD movies and still photos and equipped with a 28-102mm equivalent zoom lens and a hard glass lens barrier “for extra-tough lens protection”. In addition, the Olympus Tough TG-320 comes with an Underwater 3D mode that lets you capture 3D photo underwater or 720p movies that supported by sensor-shift image stabilisation, AF Tracking, Magic Filters, Face Detection and Shadow Adjustment technologies. The camera has a 2.7” scratch-resistant LCD screen and will be available in the mid-February 2012 for just €149.


The Olympus Tough TG-320 provides fantastic durability that can protect the camera when drop onto a rock from a height of 1.5 metres or sink in a pool with depth up to 3 metres even lets you use it in temperatures as low as -10° Celsius. It has a sophisticated system of double seals to protect the inner casing including a hard glass lens to protect the precision 3.6x wide optical zoom lens (28-102mm).

The camera has a 2.7-inch scratch-resistant LCD for easy viewing images and movie in bright sunlight. Equipped with Dual Image Stabilisation to reduce the blur images in poor light and with fast-moving shots. In addition, the Olympus Tough TG-320 offers an Underwater 3D mode, Intelligent Auto Mode (i-Auto) and AF Tracking to ensure the users get bright and sharp result from the hectic scenes. Users can also make a create special effect by use eight Magic Filters on the camera.
