Fast lens, great point & shoot pictures
“Fast lens. Probably the single most defining feature of this camera as compared to other waterproof options available today. Takes pictures immediately when you press down the shutter. Very responsive.. Picture quality is excellent for a point and shoot. Lower light photos are okay. I shoot most low light with a DSLR, and this doesn’t really compare, but it is better than the average point and shoot camera.” – By jvdg27

“So far the results are exceeding my expectations, particularly the telephoto which allows optical zooming to roughly 170mm (as I understand it the digital zoom gets you around 340mm): even at maximum zoom the image quality to my eyes is good which I presume is largely a function of the fast lens speed.” – By M. “The video on this Olympus was ok, but compared to the Nikon, it is definitely sharper than the Nikon.. The most amazing thing about this camera is the super macro mode. This is available in photo and in video 1080p mode as well. I took a picture of a flower at eye level. Then I switched over to super macro, and even zoomed in to 4x. I placed the camera literally on the flower (manual say 1 cm!). I was able to video tape all these insects crawling around inside the flower.” – By VT

The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-2 iHS features 12.0 megapixels BSI CMOS sensor which able to capture exceptional images quality with less noise and improved image detail, especially in low-light situations. It also has 4x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens (25-100mm equivalent) 8x Super Resolution Zoom that bring you closer to your subject without compromising image quality.
