Olympus Stylus 820 Reviews

ImagingResource reviews the Olympus Stylus 820 and writes;
“Overall, I found shooting with the Stylus 820 simple and hassle-free, as most functions were automatically controlled. When I did need to delve into the LCD menu to make changes, it was quick and to the point.”

Cameras.uk reviews the Olympus Stylus 820 and writes;
“Picture quality holds up until you really start to push the camera. Shutter lag times fall well within what is acceptable and the camera is also easy enough to pick up and get started with… If you are looking for a digital camera you can use in just about all weathers than this camera is worth a close look ”
Rating: ★★★★☆

ePhotozine reviews the Olympus Stylus 820 and writes;
“No noise can be detected until ISO200 when shown at full size. Artefacts are showing scattered over low key areas at ISO800 and in what seems like a desparate bid, the image has been severely softened at ISO1600 to try to eliminate noise.”
Rating: ★★★½☆

PhotoReview.au reviews the Olympus Stylus 820 and writes;
“Imatest showed resolution to be below expectations for an 8-megapixel camera but revealed only minor edge softening. It also confirmed colour accuracy was above average and revealed some minor shifts in a number of hues and varying saturation levels. Lateral chromatic aberration was shown to be severe, particularly for vertical measurements.”
Rating: ★★★★☆

Steve’sDigicams reviews the Olympus Stylus 820 and writes;
“It offers excellent image quality, a variety of scene modes, and a very useful in-camera guide to help the user along. With a very comfortable feel and an incredibly small size, it is a perfect little camera for on the go… With a price range around US$250, this is an excellent camera for this price range.”
