I must admit that I am very hard on equiptment. I had a glass of water still onto the back of my camera while it was down in my lap while eating at a table and I dropped my camera 3 feet to the ground. It's like a Timex...it's still working perfectly. I don't recommend doing these things to your E30 but it is a rugged camera that takes awesome pictures. I love my Olympus E30.
