Great flash for my Canon 60D
“For the price one pays for this flash versus Canon-branded flash, this is an excellent buy! Saw a couple of people doing detailed reviews on this – have to agree that it is quite a powerful flash. Tried it in wireless TTL mode – it works in a simple but reliable way!” – By philip_ng

Best bang for the buck
“First thing i noticed is that it is bigger and more powerful than my SB-600. Controls were simple to understand and modify since there is no LCD screen. It is a plug-and-play flash unit. I haven’t tried the optical flash or the TTL optical flash mode but CLS slave mode works perfectly.” – By coconatz

Much Better Than Expected – Go for it!
“The quality of the flash body is fantastic as the pictures truly do not do it justice. It isn’t too big but it has a lot of power. The buttons are easy to push and give you good feedback when pressed. The bounce card is a little thin but it does a good job.” – By C. CANFIELD

“Perfect. Works well as slave on my nikond90. Does the trick for less than an sb600. The on camera flash for the d90 can be he commander for this flash no need for extra equip.” – By Llcoolj

a great flash
“The recycle time is great, I do candids and portrait work and have found it to be very versatile. I have shot well over 300 flashes on one set of rechargeable AA batteries and it is starting to show some prolonged recycle time now. If you are on a budget this is a good alternative to the higher priced speed-lites.” – By Christopher M. Smith APRN,BC,NP-C

Great alternative to OEM flashes. Even more versatile than the first gen version
“The main point is, the Nissin Di622 Mark II is a good buy because it does what all basic flashes can do (manual power, variable sync triggering options) but still offer modern flexibility such as ignoring pre-flash slave modes and wireless TTL modes.” – By David L. Tong

Great flash for the price
“I bought this flash on the recommendation of a photographer as an alternative to the nikon flash units. I was skeptical at first, but after using the flash for a while I have come to find that the flash works pretty well. The flash comes with a stand and function modes that allow you to set it as a slave flash.” – By Phatmantech
