Nikon SB-910 Speedlight

Nikon SB-910 Speedlight is a new powerful Creative Lighting System which has guide number of 34 m/111.5 ft. at ISO 100 on 35mm zoom head position with min. Recycling Time of 2.3 sec. (approx.) when use Ni-MH (2600 mAh) batteries. It features Multiple Flash Exposure Modes: i-TTL, Manual Flash, Distance-priority manual flash with automatically detect the Lens Coverage of DX or FX format camera. The Flash head tilts down to 7° or up to 90° and also rotates horizontally 180° to the left and right.

The Nikon SB-910 Speedlight also offers a Flash Compensation of –3.0 EV to +3.0 EV in increments of 1/3 steps in i-TTL auto flash, Auto Aperture flash, Non-TTL auto flash and Distance-priority manual flash modes. It provides Wireless Flash Modes with Four: 1, 2, 3 and 4 Channels of Wireless Communication. The flash measures 3.1 x 5.7 x 4.4 in. (78.5 x 145 x 113mm) with weight Approx. 14.8 oz. (420g) (without batteries).

It also has an i-TTL system which supports Advanced Wireless Lighting and versatile functions for up to four groups of Speedlights, with 3 remote i-TTL Speedlight groups that is controlled by master Nikon SB-910.

The i-TTL Balanced Fill-Flash as a flash control using an Advanced Data Communication System to provide an improved method for the monitor pre-flash and wireless operation. In addition, the Nikon SB-910 Speedlight provides wide zoom range from 17-200mm with streamlined controls and menus.

Nikon SB-910 has an i-TTL flash control which allows the flash to share critical exposure information with CLS compatible D-SLRs like a DX or FX format camera that can be automatically detected by Nikon SB-910. All of the complex lighting calculations are counted for users instantly with consistently accurate results in just about any lighting situation. The flash lets users to select from 3 light distribution patterns: Standard, Center-weighted, and Even. With built-in Commander operating as the Master controller, It can also used as a Commander to control wirelessly up to three groups of remotely SB-900, SB-700 and SB-R200 Speedlights.

Ease of use

The Nikon SB-910 Speedlight has been improving of its graphic user interface (GUI) includes adding a dedicated Menu button for easy operation and illuminated buttons for control in low light. Not only that, the flash also improve the thermal protection system to prevents overheating during rapid firing by automatically slowing down the recycle time rather than shutting down the flash. Comes with a Hard filters for fluorescent and tungsten lighting make the the flash automatically change the white balance of the camera to match the filter which is used when shooting.
