Surprised, I did a lot of research and after reading a lot of negatives I still decided to go with Nikon cos of the brand, and i am delighted that I went with my instinct, Initially I was disappointed with certain indoor shots - but then a quick look at the manual helped a lot. Im getting perfect shots in all kinds of settings and modes.. keep experimenting and you will fall in love with this masterpiece.

If u still have doubts do this - place it on a tripod on a full moon night and zoom it maximum,,,click the moon and u will be surprised with what u see....amazing detail and never seen before picture of the moon.

Purchased P90 last week only. SHot some good outdoor pics but have problem in indoor shots. They get blurred. Even if the flash is on in indoor conditions, the results is quite blurry. Same shot with Extra lights give better results in terms of Focus. All this I am doing on Auto Mode. Shall I try Some other mode. Really dont know how to make adjustments in other modes. Pl guide

Excellence if you need something easy to bring along, portable with greater zooming option, something simple to cover quick simple straight forward photo shoot assignments. Easy to use, no need to read the menu to understand how it works and after some quick trials, it has lots more potentials than its was reviewed and advertised. Perfect as a second bring along snapping camera with any DSLR for professional shoot. 24x zoom is good as a binoculars rather than to take a picture unless you can stay dead still.

Overall price is affordable at S$630. Will recommend as one good light weight bring along camera (no need to bring your heavy zoom lenses). Handy for sight seeing and traveling.

I would agree with Allie with the exception that I bought a spare battery so never have that problem.

I have been very pleased with my p90 coolpix and especially like the zoom capability of this camera.

For the price it gives fantastic results.

I got this camera about a month ago, and I can't put it down! I love it! It's a great camera for learning about different settings and which ones work best with what. I'm not a professional photographer or anything, but photography has always been a passion for me and this camera is wonderful! It takes the best pictures outdoors, but the ones indoors are terrible either. The 24x zoom is AMAZING! I couldn't believe how far away I could take picture and it still be in focus and not blurry!! The only bad thing I can say about this camera is the battery doesn't last that long, but just charge it often and your solid.
