Nikon D90 Rumor



Last updated: It’s official! Nikon has just announced the Nikon D90 (27 August’08)

It looks like Nikon is about to release the successor of Nikon D80 soon. The Nikon D90 is rumored to have a 12 megapixel resolution with 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VR kit lens. 3-inch LCD Screen, Live view, Video Recording, 5 fps continuous shooting, HDMI port to connect your camera to an HDTV, and GPS compatibility. + Target had a product page online for the camera and these official images were up on their site briefly. (August 25th 2008)

+ One of the NikonRumors readers has also given a tip that the Nikon D90 with an 18-105mm VR lens has been listed in Circuit City inventory system for $1299.99 (August 13th 2008)

+ Engadget has reported another leak from a Best Buy employee who has managed to capture the screenshot of the Nikon D90 in Best Buy’s inventory. It looks like both online stores will offer the same specifications and price for the camera (source)

Great to see Nikon bring in another DSLR but is’nt the market saturated already with DSLR’s cheaper than Nikon’s.
