The Nikon Coolpix S50 is a 7.2 megapixels point-and-shoot digital camera features 3x Optical Zoom (35mm equivalent: 38-114mm), Optical lens shift Vibration Reduction, ISO 100-1600, and a 3.0″ 230,000-dot, wide viewing angle TFT LCD. “Indoors, the camera also performs well, as long as you are within the limits of the tiny flash unit.Nikon claims it can cover up to 19.8 feet at wide angle (ISO Auto.) While I do not feel it can properly illuminate a subject at that range, I did achieve good results when shooting close-up portraits from about 5 - 6 feet away. ”
